Something I don't understand

This may be something you read the first couple sentences to, then decide it's not worth your time, or just turn your head because you've seen 6,002 things already like it. Trust me, I get it. I was the exact same way. The idea is constantly around us, impossible to ignore, yet most still turn a blind eye to it. We're aware that our "world is coming to and end", and "the president is ruining everything", but you guys... it's us. We constantly talk about this thing called "society" and how much it's breaking America and causing people to hate, but when will people realize that "society" is US. It's you, your mom, grandma, best friend, colleague, teammate, co-worker. You cannot physically place society anywhere because it is each and every one of us, all over the world. Waiting for somebody else to make a change, or start a reform, is like trying to fix your grade from last semester... useless and disappointing. For me, ...

Class Challenges

Overall, I enjoy this class, but have faced some struggles. It may be some miscommunication, but I find myself taking a lot of time working on these assignments. I know it's a good thing to take time and make your work adequate, but I dedicate a decent amount of my homework time to this class. I'm not sure if I am overworking, or if it's just right. The people in my dorm also share that they're spending a lot of time for this class as well. Just looking for some feedback on what you guys are thinking.

Technical Question Post

I'm here asking for some feedback on my blog. I was going for a calm, beach-like feel with the background and fonts I chose. I want to know that when somebody opens my blog, is it visually appealing? Even if you don't necessarily like the theme, is it easy to read and understand? I am open for any type of feedback anybody is willing to give! Thank you

After Innocence Review

Describe and explain how it moved you (angry, curious, curious, delighted, motivated) give a lot of detail and dive into how it effected you. Although this documentary made me feel every feeling in the book, there was one scene that stood out to me the most. One was when former inmate, Nick, was reflecting upon the day of his sentencing. He talked about how looked the judged that sentenced him and alluded to the fact that he knew he was innocent. The judge refused to meet his eye (probably because he had a feeling he was innocent), and Nick told him to go to hell. This just hit me because I'...

This video is a snapshot of rapper Logic performing his new single 1-800-237-2885 at the most recent MTV Video Music Awards. This song is amazing to me lyrically, but also because the title itself is the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Because of this, on the release date, the search for the number went up 100%. Since then, the new baseline search for the significance of the number is 25% higher. The song itself is about a person's struggle with life and them slowly finding the power to decide to help themselves and pick up their broken pieces and pull things together. This performance moved me not only because of the song, but how Logic went about his delivery. He has the Suicide Prevention Lifeline number displayed all along the stage he was singing on, only shedding more light on their service. During the last minute of his song, he had hundreds of people who had attempted to commit suicide come out on stage with the number printed on the back of their shirts with the slog...
